Cao Bang is a mountainous province located in the North East of Vietnam. Cao Bang is bordered to the north and the east by China, to the West by Ha Giang Province and to the south by Tuyen Quang, Bac Kan and Lang Son Provinces.  

 

Cao Bang possesses a terrain of high mountains alternated by flat valleys or forests which guarantees the visitors traveling through the province an unforgettable experience.

Cao Bang has huge potential for eco-tourism, for easy sightseeing tours, motorbiking and mountain biking tours. Please contact PVT for an exotic or challenging adventure travel itinerary for you.

Accommodation
There are family-run hotels with basic facilities in Cao Bang Town and others of the province. Those basic in facilities, most hotels are very clean, even spotless-clean. Some hotels offer stunning river views and/or mountain views. At PVT, we only go for the best service available for the tours other than adventure, unless otherwise selected by the travelers.

For the travelers who follow an adventure itinerary with PVT, we also offer possibility to stay with a local ethnic family in their traditional houses. The conditions may be rustic, but the experience is not found else where. Please indicate that staying with the locals are fine when requesting services from PVT.

 

Getting there and away
Cao Bang is 272 Km from Ha Noi, the road from Ha Noi to Cao Bang is Road No. 3 which is in excellent conditions as of this writing. There are daily buses from Ha Noi, Bac Kan Town and Thai Nguyen City to Cao Bang.
