Overview


Inside Cambodia is a 6 days/5 nights experience of the recent provocative history of Cambodia as well as the stunning Temples of Ankgor. On the tour, we'll explore thoroughly the capital city with the ancient landmarks and the recently infamous sites. In Siem Reap, home to the spectacular temples of Angkor, we'll explore extensively the celebrated temples and the surrounding countryside. We'll also cover the life of the fishing community who call the Great Lake of Tonle Sap home with a sunset cruise. Accommodation for the tour is deluxe with the best hotels at each location. The pace of the tour is easy. Inside Cambodia is the full picture of Cambodia: past and present, arts and culture, grandeur and ruins.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Phnom Penh
Arriving at Phnom Penh, you'll be welcomed by our tour guide and escorted to the hotel. In the afternoon we'll visit the National Museum, the Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace and Wat Phnom hill, founding place of the city. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
 
Day 2: Phnom Penh (B)
After breakfast, we'll travel back through the recent tragedy of Cambodia with a tour to the infamous Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crimes and Cheung Ek, better known as the Killing Fields. Then we travel back to town for refreshment.

In the afternoon, we'll  explore the colorful Russian and Central markets. In the late afternoon take a stroll on the riverfront, watching sunset over the Mekong. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
 
Day 3: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B/D)
Transfer back to Phnom Penh Airport for the morning flight to Siem Reap. On arrival, we'll begin a tour of the temples including the early-Angkor Era temples of the Roluos Group - Preah Ko, Ba Kong and Lo Lei.

In the afternoon, we continue our tour to Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, Chau Say Tevoda, Thommanon, and the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous trees and gigantic creepers. Tonight we'll sample the fine Khmer cuisine and the magical dance of Apsara. Overnight in Siem Reap.
 
Day 4: Siem Reap (B)
After breakfast, we'll enjoy a a morning tour of the temples taking in the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon, Baphoun, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King.

In the afternoon, visit the magnificent 12th century Angkor Wat. In late afternoon, we'll climb the Phnom Bakheng for the spectacular sunset over Angkor Wat and the countryside. Overnight in Siem Reap.
 
Day 5: Siem Reap (B)
Rise early in the morning for the sunrise from Angkor Wat. Then we'll get back to the hotel for breakfast. We'll continue our tour to Banteay Srei, Kbal Spean (River of 1000 Lingas) and Banteay Samre. In the afternoon take a boat trip on the great lake of Tonle Sap catching sunset and learning the life of the fishing community. Overnight in Siem Reap.
 
Day 6: Departure (B)
You have free time until we transfer you back to Siem Reap Airport for your departure. We trust you had a wonderful time in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
