Overview

Angkor Temples are unrivalled in scales, artisticness as well as mysteriousness. Angkor Secrets engages our travellers into the fabled world of the Angkor Temples. We'll travel back in time uncovering the secrets of Angkor and adoring the treasures of the Khmer Arts.

The tour is for 4 days/3 nights. Our accommodation is the best luxurious hotels available in Siem Reap. On the tour, we'll also explore the surrounding countryside of Siem Reap as well as the peaceful life on the Great Lake of Tonle Sap. Besides we'll travel through the fine cuisine of Cambodia at a fine-dining restaurant where the magical show of Apsara is performed. Angkor Secrets brings you a full picture of the Angkor Temples.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Siem Reap (B)
Arriving at Siem Reap Airport, you'll welcomed by our tour guide. In the afternoon we start  our exploration from Srah Srang, once was a swimming pool of the quee to the stunning Ta Prohm temple, with gigantic roots from the ancient creepers flowing down the thousand-year-old walls. After this, we head west to the  Banteay Kdei, a Mahayana Buddhist monastic complex. Chau Say Tevoda and Thommanon are the twin temples where relax at the end of our journey back in time. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2: Siem Reap (B/D)
After breakfast a morning tour of the temples takes in the South Gate of Angkor Thom – the last capital city of the great Khmer Empire. We walk into the heart of this site - the incredible temple of Bayon, with the mysterious smiling faces. Then visit Baphoun – once was among the greatest temples of Angkor. We continue to the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon, visit the unparalleled structure of Angkor Wat. In late afternoon, we'll have a hike to Phnom Bakheng for the spectacular sunset over Angkor Wat and the countryside surroundings. Our dinner tonight is at a local restaurant with the magical Apsara Show. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3: Siem Reap (B)
It's optional whether you want our guide to wake you up early for experiencing the magical  sunrise over Ankor Wat. After breakfast. We'll travel through the scenic countryside of Siem Reap to Banteay Srei – well-known for its most intact bas-reliefs. Then we head to Kbal Spean (River of a thousand Lingas) and Banteay Samre – hidden in the jungles.

In the afternoon we'll set out on the fresh water of Tonle Sap engaging in the tunes of lives on the water.  Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 4: Departure (B)
You have free time until we transfer you back to Siem Reap Airport for your departure. We trust the unrivalled temples of Angkor engage you onto a trip back in times.
