Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City still called Saigon by the locals is the biggest city and the economic center of Vietnam. The city spreads its way on the banks of the Saigon River and has always been busy with trade since its formation. The areas more interesting to the travellers include the riverside, the city center and China Town.
Sapa
Sapa is 400 km (9 hour drive by car) north-west of Hanoi. This cloud-covered town is located at 1550 m above the sea level, cool all year round. There are many magnificent mountains including the peak of Indochina - Fansipan of 3143m elevation.
North West
The North-West of Vietnam is characterized by high mountains and colorful ethnic minorities. The region includes the provinces of Hoa Binh, Son La, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai.
